  We were in awe when we first walked in the door. The view of the ocean and the beautiful interior of the unit promised a great experience. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the ocean and sighting turtles and whales. We were impressed with the extra touches - picnic and snorkeling equipment.
  The sitting was very quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this unit and hope to come back.

  We have visited Kauai for many years and this was the best place we have ever stayed. Great value, quiet location, fantastic views of the ocean, sunset over Bali Hai, turtles in the cove under our balcony and lots of whale activity. Extremely well equipped - we did most all of our cooking and ate as we would have at home. Great beach equipment too - we have always had to buy chairs or umbrellas or both in the past, but there was enough for the 4 of us and we loved the comfortable beach chairs. The condo is lovely and comfortable with good quality beds and linens. The wireless worked well. Nice selection of books, DVDs and puzzles for rainy days. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

  The floors were pretty dirty (when going barefoot, our feet would turn brown within minutes from dirt on floor - no visible dirt, but looked like floors needed to be washed). Washer and dryer very outdated and hard to use. Dryer would not completly dry clothes. TV also outdated and sound would cut out. Pros - excellent bed in master; king size sleep number is the way to go! Condo was in a great location.

    You're right that the washer and dryer are in need of replacement, and we apologize for the inconvenience. New units have been ordered and are scheduled for installation in Novwmber 2012. We will certainly alert the housekeeper that she needs to give more attention to the floors, possibly a change in floor cleaning product. Glad you enjoyed the sleep number bed :-)

  We stayed in Alii Kai 3202 for 5 days in Oct, after 8 days in a house in Haena. Condo was remodeled and very tastefully done. Views at the ocean edge are spectacular. There are two nice beach chairs, small cooler and one boogie board available for use, which was perfect for my wife and I. Plenty of towels and two nice bathrooms. Excellent value for the view and location at waters edge. We stayed at Alii Kai last year at a different unit and May, and knew what to expect. Building 3 is only two floors, and has almost 180 degree views from the two center units. I highly recommend this unit to couples who wish to relax and enjoy the views, and don't mind driving ten minutes to get to one of the excellent beachs on the north shore. Only a few minor things that I could recommend to the owner to improve the experience: better quality sheets, magnetic closures or new hinges on a few of the kitchen cabinets, and two more chairs and one more boogie board in case there are four guests staying in the condo. Overall, excellent place to stay, and highly recommended.

  The photos do not do this condo justice. Has every amenity one could possibly need, all the way down to a teapot which this tea drinking family truly appreciated. The view from the balcony was fantastic, absolutely breathtaking. Great selection books about Kauai. Really quiet area and convenient to get to. However, the initial directions need a bit of work, as finding the condo the first time wasn't as easy as it could have been, there is a reference to something being called a street when it should have been a road or something like that, among a few other quirks. Also a suggestion about getting some sort of towel rack in the master bath, but really a minor detail. We will definitely stay in 3202 again.

  My daughter and I had the most amazing time on Kauai. Alli Kai 3202 was the perfect place to come home to after all of our adventures. We can not wait to do it all again next year!

  We loved the property. it was in the greatest location. Right on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It was in walking distance to the Queens bath. Right below the condo, down the cliff was the turtle cave. Beautiful. We enjoyed the beaches, the scenery,the condo. i rented this condo because it had air conditioning, but found out that we didnt need it. I thank the management for replacing one that was not working, but it was unnessary. I would reccomend this condo to anyone, wanting a beautiful stay on Kauai. It was convenient to all the beaches on north shore and napali coast. Go to Calypso's in Hanalei bay, good place for Mai tai's. thanks again.

  This top-floor waterfront condo exceeded our hopes, it provided stunning ocean views,beauty, elegance, privacy and incredible comfort. It has hardwood floors, granite in the kitchen and travertine in the bathrooms. In addition it is very well-equipped. The beds and linens are high quality and luxurious. The kitchen is so complete that we rarely wanted to eat out. Every room has a direct and amazing ocean view. Imagine staring at the ocean from your bed. We sat on the deck for hours and watched the turtles and whales below. Alii Kai has one of the best locations within Princeville; the complex is low density which translates into natural settings all around while also being close to amenities and all activities. We were very sad to leave this beautiful unit and area and are already planning our next trip back. We enjoyed the walking trails, golfing and water sports. The town of Hanelai is a magical gem as is its beach. We thank the owners of this condo for sharing it with us!

  The pictures of this property did not do it justice. I gasped at how beautiful it when we walked in. This is a first class place with terrific views and a decent sized lanai. I would choose this exact unit again as I felt it had the best views of all the units in the area and it was nicely appointed.

  Excellent location, cozy home. Loved the ipod dock, DVD's and puzzles--it was perfect during rainy weather. The kitchen was well stocked with utensil's, dishes, pots, pans, etc.
  
  The only complaint is that there is a major ant problem in the unit. We have stayed in another unit in this complex before and did not have this problem.
  
  Overall very nice condo and would stay there again. The unit looks exactly like the photo's.

  A last minute booking lead us to this place—we were slightly apprehensive based on the pictures, but the location seemed perfect for what we were looking to accomplish on the beautiful island of Kaua'i, so we booked. An boy, were we excited when we got there. The pictures just don't do it justice! This place is a little slice of heaven: beautiful, right-on-the ocean views, great location (close to groceries and Hanalei), amazing kitchen and the two bathrooms made it very easy. One thing to note: if you've never slept in a Sleep Number Bed (master bed), you may want to research your sleep number first so that you don't spend a few nights getting it right (and with a sore back). Enjoy!

  views can't be beat, looking right out at the ocean. wireless was not working, hard to get hold of someone to assist, caretaker kinda flaky: was supposed to help fix electronic trash can but never showed back up. took him a couple days & a few phone calls to show up in first place. was told that there is a tea kettle when i emailed ahead of time to confirm but did not find any. shower had low pressure. air conditioner condensate receptacle was full. nevertheless, the property's location is the highlight; kitchen amenities are quite complete. bosch washer/dryer worked fantastically. double dish washer not so functional: cant fit too much in it; also big plates did not fit in properly.

  Wow! What a location - we really could see the turtles from the terrace. And what beautiful condo - stocked with all we needed and more! (Except we couldn't find a hair dryer.) The beds were so comfy. We definitely will return to this condo.

  After staying in a bunch of the Ali`i Kai units, mostly in building 5, this one in building 3 is by far our favorite. The location can't be beat - closest to the edge of the cliff and the water, views of Bali Hai from the balcony. And you can just see Queen Emma's Bath from the balcony, too. Everything is an upgrade here. Beautiful wood floors. Even the doors and windows are upgraded. Kitchen is great! Wolf, Bosch, & GE Profile appliances. Even has a panini press! I think this is going to be our go-to place from now on.
  
  Appears this building is more residential than rental and some of the residents like to have parties. But nothing too rowdy.
  
  Like most of the island, be on the lookout for ants here and there. This was our only difficulty.
  
  Overall, this is a great unit. Great location at a great price.
