  We stayed a week at Wailele Hale, but wished it could have lasted forever! The pictures do not do the property justice. We had three generations staying here and everyone had a favorite spot. Whether it was the front porches with the most breathtaking views of the mountains and waterfalls, the courtyard with koi pond in the middle of the home, or the hot tub surrounded by vegetation and flowers, each spot was amazing. My teenagers walked to the beach daily to surf and snorkel. The only problem with the home is that because it is so wonderful, you don’t want to leave to go sightseeing. I would DEFINATELY stay here again!

  This is a great house in a superb location on a magical island. Four of us island hopped for 3 weeks and this was the best,we loved every minute.If we return to the islands this is number one return site

  Friends and family were very impressed with the house. Great location close to the beach and on the golf course. The house was in great shape, and looked newer then others around the neigborhood. When we come back to Kauai, we will definitely stay there.

  This home was amazing, the view from the front Lanai was so peaceful. We all enjoyed the hot-tub after a long day of fun on the beaches. The inside courtyard was a terrific place to have family dinners. It was located close to some wonderful sites and
  
  restaurants. The one and only thing I would ask for would be a couple bikes to tool around on. Besides that...our family fought hard to stay longer. As a matter of fact Hurricane Irene on the main-land kept us 3 extra days. We soaked them up w/gusto! Mahalo

• Overall our stay met and even exceeded our expectations. The weather cooperated and we had a lot of fun. There was an ongoing issue with the septic tank which was eventually resolved with a new pump - which took the smell of the first days away.

  The garage door was quite finicky, choosing inopportune times to quit working. It may still be that way. However, these problems were manageable. One problem is the noise from the golf course mowers that started around 0530 each morning. I realize that they have grass to cut but their machines were quite loud. Fortunately the children seemed to sleep through - but none of the adults could. Still, I really enjoyed the stay. One more thing, one of our 2 year olds hit his head on the lava rocks beside the koi pond when he fell in. He tried to get past a chair and did not have enough room. He cut his forehead and had 2 abrasions to his face. It was caused by the fact that the space for that table and chairs was not quite wide enough.
