  J-1 is a well maintained,clean and nicely furnished/decorated condo with a beautiful view of 'Anini beach and Kilauea lighthouse. Other Sealodge condo's might have a somewhat nicer veiw but that is minor and a matter of preference. Don't really care for the "drapery" doors on bathrooms but again, our preference. We had a notice on an electric bill but the Ahh Aloha contact person and the owner gave a wonderful response with immediate action to correct the issue. Very impressive and professional. We would definately stay here again.

  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would say the unit is nicer in person than in the pics. Well appointed, up to date, and quiet. Some fruit flies and minor mold in downstairs shower, but otherwise very clean. And BEAUTIFUL VIEWS.
  
  The unit is on the quieter north shore. For convenience and night life stay on the east or south part of the island. For rest, relaxation, some great hikes, beautiful lush beaches, and tasty restaurants, this is the place to be.

  It was so nice having an end unit with no one above us. I loved the patio and lawn that lead to the edge of the bluff and ocean views to die for! The kitchen was nicely appointed, bit there was very little counter space due to the microwave on the counter. There was no exhaust fan above the stove, so maybe a microwave about the stove would be a better idea? Also really could've used an exhaust fan in the bathroom...
  Other than that, the place was great! Can't wait to come back.

  Sealodge J-1 was perfect for our needs---clean, quiet, private. The weather was splendid all 8 days, and we thoroughly enjoyed Sealodge Beach, the Kalalau Trail, Tunnels Beach for snorkeling, Anini Beach, Queen's Bath, Secret Lava Pools, Kilauea Lighthouse, Scotty's BBQ in Kapaa, and strolling through Princeville in the evening. Foodland was close and convenient,and Hanalei's farmers' market was interesting.
  
  A few more pots/pans/knives would have made cooking more convenient, but that was a minor issue. Overall, well pleased and would certainly stay there again.

  My 90 year old mom and I rented J for a whole month.I love to boogie board she loves to read and explore the area on foot. It was a good and challenging walk for her to the village of Princeville, but she did it. I enjoyed taking the chair yoga class and Linda's toning class at the community center and meeting new friends. The sun rises from the condo was magnificent. The place is good for 2 people who are used to having space. Bring your own knives though. They are dull. The neighbors are great. and the landscaping. Visited the beach down a steep path which is a beautiful walk.

  The view of Anni Beach, the light house and sound of the crushing waves through your window says it all. The complex is secluded at the end of road on a bluff overlooking the ocean. The units are a bit long in the tooth but the location, tranquility and value makes up for it. Would not for recommend two couples, unless you are family as units are fairly open. Beds are good, kitchen adequate, storage limited, Outdoor cooking area poor. The unit has boogie boards, and other beach gear. This is my 7th visit to Kauai and 18th to the islands.

  Our stay a Sealodge was wonderful. The condo was very comfortable, homey and safe feeling. The only down side was the distance to the beach at Sealodge. We were told it was a 10 min. walk to the beach but it was more like 30 min. plus its was very rocky and narrow in areas, not a path I would want to have to bring small children along. Staying in Princeville was a perfect location for us. We were close to everything we wanted to do. The whale watching was amazing. Drinking coffee in the morning and watching the whales splashing in the not to far distance was something I'll never forget. I look forward to staying there again.

  Three of us stayed in unit J1 with family and friends occupying 4 other units. Our unit definitely had the most room and semi-flat area out the back patio (a big plus). Princeville provided groceries, and shops for about everything we needed during our vacation.

  Rented a villa in November 2011 for 5 days. The district has made a great impression Prinsvil, elegant and safe location. Villa with ocean views, quiet and peaceful place for families.
  Deficiencies in the placement of the following: bed linen wrinkled, entrance lock must open with two hands, the door to the terrace and the bedroom floor of a poorly closed.

  Quite nice, very clean & quiet. The light from the distant Lighthouse may keep some awake.
  Make sure you leave the porch light on if you go out in the evening, as you will not be able to get back in without a flashlight - the door opens using a keypad (which you must see to use) and there is no Management on the property after-hours to assist you.

  We enjoyed our stay at Sealodge J1. The condo was stocked with everything we could ever need (with an exception of a spatula). We made very good use of the beach chairs and mats. The view was just lovely. The kitchen and the the washer/dryer seemed pretty new. One note: the downstairs bathroom is covered by a curtain. If you need more privacy, close the bedroom shade. Overall, it was a great place to come home to after hanging out in the beach all day. Mahalo!!!

  Very nice property. Excellent location. However if you're planning on cooking some meals be prepared to buy EVERYTHING at the store. Things like plastic wrap,bags,and foil are not available for saving any food. Salt and pepper are about all you will find in the kitchen. The Barbecue is not gas so you will need to purchase charcoal if you're planning to grill. We would love to stay here again in the future and would highly recommend this property.

  My wife and I stayed here for three days and loved it. We felt right at home and could relax. It did not feel like a hotel where you feel like you're winging it or the only thing to use it for is to sleep. Instead this place was enjoyable just hanging out there with the ocean view/breeze.
  
  Very close to grocery store and well stocked/equipped enough to do our own cooking.
  
  No annoying roosters waking us up at 4am like other places we stayed at.
  
  Just two small criticisms - first there are a lot of centipeds crawling around the place. Woke up one night with one crawling up my leg. Second - it would be nice if the place was stoked with salt, pepper and sugar.

  The washing machine needs replacing. It runs extremely noisy, so much so, that while spinning, even with a small load, it can be heard outside 50 yards away. Also, we replaced can opener, even though it was broken upon arrival. Note it took 3 phone calls to get the pool passcode. It wasn't on any information sheet from anyone

  We had a beautiful week at Sea lodge, the two bedrooms and living rooms all had ocean views. The breeze was refreshing. The condo was clean, the art work tasteful. The property was well maintained. the pool was clean and the other guests were considerate of quite hours. The little private beach was a fun jungle walk along a small cliff to wonderful snorkeling. Great location very close to wild places.

  fantastic place to stay...on the best side of the island to visit. very quite, as it sits at the end of a private drive so there is no through-traffic. nice pool and large brick barbeque pit with picnic table to use. the condo had 2 nice big flat screen tv's and was loaded with lots of extras such as snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand buckets and shovels for kids, beachtowels, mats, and many other things. terrific view of annini beach....and a great secluded beach within a short walk ( sealodge beach ). Will definitely be staying here on our next visit for sure.

  Sea Lodge beach is wonderful. The path down was a little muddy because of the rains but it was worth it to have the beautiful beach almost to ourselves.
