  The rental was for a week with only my husband and myself staying at the property. I loved the location and the large window views. The rental company was professional and very responsive. During our stay, I learned that sea lodge was one of the oldest complexes in princeville, but you would never know it from the wonderful upkeep and care given this unit. I would stay here again and refer friends!

  Never made it to the Sealodge Beach as it was always raining and the trail has become a bit hazardous for us older folks. All major activities are on the South side of the Island which requires a long drive. Still well worth it as the South is crowded and Princeville and the beaches up North are nice and quite.

  We are frequent visitors to Kauai--most often staying in Poipu. We found SeaLodge a nice respite, quiet, and relaxing. The view of the morning sunrise was spectacular and the full moon mesmerizing as it cast over the water and lighthouse. It got a bit warm when there was no wind, but the sound of the waves in the evening lulled us to sleep. The condo was very well equipped (w/all the necessities we needed) and created a real sense of a home away from home. Sealodge beach is a must for the adventurous. We would love to come back some time and/or recommend to a friend.

  The Privceville Sealodge E10 Condo is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Kauai. Every morning we would watch the beautiful sunrise and look out over the ocean and coastline as we lay in bed. The views from every window are just amazing. The condo was very comfortable,clean,quiet and well stocked with everything we needed along with some unexpected items such as snorkel gear, beach gear, binoculars. We will definitely stay here again. We had such a wonderful time.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at E10. The unit was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped for a rental, which made preparing our own meals a breeze. The unit also had other thoughtful touches--hiking guides, Hawaiian music CDs, beach gear, and an assortment of books to read on the beach.
  The views from the unit were fabulous. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to see the sunrise from bed. Sealodge Beach was lovely and uncrowded, and we enjoyed the hike down.
  E10 is the only unit on the third floor, so it felt very private and cozy. Overall the property was quiet and peaceful. We so enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend.

  This was our first stay in Hawaii. WE very much enjoyed the Sea Lodge. Black out curtains in the bedroom would be a great addition. If you like to eat in bring some zip lock bags and rubber bands to close things up.
  Quiet area-nice for us!
  Sea Lodge has a view of the ocean but NO crashing waves. Some nice shops, grocery store and great shaved ice nearby. Find the short cut if you walk or drive. Our visit was 1/2 over before we thought to look for one.
  Hanalei is awesome and not far from Princeville. Tunnels Beach was perfect for the wedding we attended and for snorkling.
  All in all-GREAT!

  I would not recommend E10 for a couple of reasons. It was not as clean as one would expect for the nightly rate. It was neat but not neccessarily clean. For exambple, I had to scrub the bathtub prior to taking a bath. This is not acceptable for 140$ per night. And the unit itself was cluttered with too much furniture that did not take advantage of the view.

  The unit is on the third (top) floor: lots of stairs but no neighbors. Excellent view. Very tastefully decorated, and well stocked. I had maintenance problems with the clothes washer, the screen door, and the shower. The rental company reports that all are being addressed.
  
  If you're looking for the sound of the ocean, this isn't it: Princeville is on a bluff too high above the ocean for that. The sound you get is the constant wind through the palm trees. The views of the ocean and reef are superb. You can easily see all the way to the Kilauea Lighthouse.

  This is an enchanting condo in Princeville, Kauai at the Sealodge that is on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. It is adjacent to beautiful Hanalei Bay. The condo was so clean with a lovely decor and gorgeous views. On our arrival we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is a delightful "aerie" on the top floor so it is quiet, too. Mele Kalikimaka!

  We always love coming to Sea Lodge. This was our 4th time and we would come back. The unit we were in was a bit old fashioned and needed a few fixes. We called David, but did not hear back from him. Jeannie was very helpful, and when I told her a couple things needed fixing she said she would forward these to David and he would call us. Again, no call.
  What needed fixing: the stopper in the bathroom sink, the blinds in the living room which could not go up or down, and an expired light in the kitchen (which is rather dark). The tv in the living room is poorly placed because it doesn't face the couch or chair. It faces the sliding glass window to the deck.
  A discrepancy was that we paid the $85 cleaning fee and the literature inside the unit claimed the cleaning fee was included. For the extra fees (service, taxes and cleaning), it was a bit overpriced for our 3 night stay. Had we stayed a week, these costs would have averaged out better, but that's hindsight!
  
  We always appreciate owner's different touches which make Sea Lodge feel like home. Beautiful, clean grounds and located well in Princeville for our needs.

  This was a very nice condo in a wonderful location - right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. Although it is quite small this was fine for the two of us and we really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen is limited for doing much cooking but breakfast and lunch worked fine. Overall, for the price this was a good choice.

  This is an outstanding property - with a few exceptions. Because of the stairs to the unit, an older occupant with heavy luggage might have problems negotiating the stairs. (3 flights, a total of 29 steps). There is no air conditioning (at least none that we could find), and the ever present wind usually provides a comfortable atmosphere. However, when it rains heavily, with a strong wind blowing, you have to close all the windows, and the door to the lanai. If you do not, there is the possibility of a lot of water coming into the unit. When all doors and windows are closed, it can become somewhat "stuffy" inside. If you can get by the wind situation, this is a very nice unit.

  Overall, the property was tastefully decorated and well-equipped with everything I needed to live for a week. I appreciated the small touches like dish soap, a starter coffee pack, beach towels, swim fins, water bottles, etc, although a small cooler would have been a great amenity. The bed was very comfortable, and the view was incredible. The only issues I had were with the condition of the appliances--the washing machine began leaking when I tried to do a load. Also, the evening lighting wasn't quite bright enough. Some different lamps would have helped. This is a minor quibble, but I didn't particularly care for the blinds. They didn't do a good job of keeping out those very bright Eastern sunrises, and when the windows were open (which was pretty much constantly in order to keep the unit cool), they made annoying clanking noises in the breeze. I'd recommend ear plugs and a sleep mask for light sleepers. Overall though, a solid unit in a very convenient location, and I'd recommend it.

  We stayed here for 5 days in March 2011 and absolutely loved the property. It rained most of the time so we spent a lot of time in the unit. Very comfortable. Extremely clean. AWESOME ocean view. Plush mattress. LCD TV, DVD player, many DVD movies. Tons of Kauai-related books in the condo. We even found many additional useful items in the condo which were not listed, such as cooking spices, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, even "Axe" brand shower gel, etc. These were great, but it would be nice to know exactly what items are available before packing and traveling with the same things. I would give this condo 5 stars for cleanliness if it weren't for a very dirty/dust-filled bathroom ceiling fan (almost looked like a fire hazard). Other than that, we had no complaints with this very nicely appointed and affordable condo. The outside grounds were magnificently landscaped and well-manicured, almost like out of a movie. We would highly recommend Sealodge E10 to anyone.

  We have always found Sealodge the best place to stay on the North Shore due to location, view !! and price. We have recommended it to friends and had quite a favorable response. We would not stay anywhere else on Kauai.

  Sealodge unit E10 is a great place for a couple to stay on Kauai. It would be too small for more than two people. The condo was very well furnished, well stocked, very clean and had sensational ocean views from the living area, lanai and the bedroom. The view from the kitchen was just as spectacular with distant ocean views and a great view of the mountains and waterfalls. The only complaint is that the unit advertised free WiFi with no password required. We were unable to get the WiFi to work so we called David as listed in the instructions that came with our final payment. David called back and while he was very nice, he suggested that I would have to solve the problem by calling the cable company and arranging for them to come out and test the unit.
