A Million Dollar View! That’s what you get from the living room, dining area, kitchen, and both bedrooms of this fabulous condo. The 20 foot lanai is the perfect spot to watch whales and spinner dolphins and view the ~180 degree coastline, from the beacon of the Kilauea lighthouse to the sunsets over Bali Hai on the West. With the top floor location (only one easy flight up), you get unmatched privacy and quiet as well. This condo is individually owned, is fully furnished with hair dryers, beach towels, full size washer and dryer. There is one king bed, one queen and a futon, plus a portable crib. The newly remodeled kitchen has granite slab counter tops and a huge island, with stainless steel appliances and a large assortment of small appliances. The guest room closet is stocked with beach chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, tennis rackets and balls, a set of golf clubs, and sand toys, The living room and master bedroom have flat screen TV’s on swivel mounts and DVD players. The media cabinet has a collection of books, DVD’s and CD’s focusing on Hawaii and Kauai. Free long distance and free high speed DSL is also provided. With a premium Princeville location, you are minutes from many stores, restaurants, golf courses, and the North Shores most beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here - very comfortable and well supplied, including a wonderful set of binoculars which we used nonstop for whale-sighting off the lanai - what a gift!!!

Great location, GREAT views...whale "show" every day at around 2pm. Very clean, everything you need for a great vacation. Two negatives...would be nice if there were at least a few condiments available. I know this is not major, but tough to have to buy a whole bottle of say, ketchup for only a few days...Also VERY crabby neighbors below us, not sure if they were guests of permanent residents but they were VERY sensitive. We have 4 kids and were very mindfull of keeping quiet and observing posted quiet hours...they still came and complained. Felt like we had to whisper and walk on tip-toes the whole time...was kind of a "downer", but otherwise a fabulous condo! Would highly recommend!!

Loved almost everything. The only problem with the condo was sometimes a little tight for parking, as the stalls were narrow, and some people seemed to have no clue on how to take up one the condo itself the toaster didnt work,and the coffee maker was temperamental. Also it would be great to have more than one BBQ. in front of the place. Very minor inconveniences, and we all LOVED our vacation! ty Alli Kai. We'll be back. :)

We had an excellent time. There was a lot of great beach chairs, snorkel stuff, tennis and even some golf clubs there for us to use. There was a constant parade of whales and the non stop sound of the waves crashing, just outside the windows.

The condo was clean and the view was awesome. A nice place to stay if you just want to hang out on the lanai, the drive to town seemed long due the reduced speed limit and the increase in traffic since the last time I was in Hawaii.

I would stay here again, and except for going to a sandy beach I would limit the amount of travel and just relax.

This was our first rental experience and it was great. The condo was clean and the neighborhood was beautiful. Having the ocean right outside was fantastic; not only was it amazing to look at but listening to it all night was peaceful and it drowned out the sound of the roosters!
Our only disappointment was the TV in the bedroom did not work and although we called the 'maintenance man' who promised to be there the next day it was never rectified.
Aside from that everything was perfect.
We will definitely return and we've recommended this Alii Kai and Kauai to everyone who'll listen!

This was our second visit to this specific unit and we will be back again. We hope to consider this our home away from home. Everything is perfect. The kitchen is stocked better than most people's house as home. The view is amazing! The snorkel gear, beach towels and chairs are included. It is very nicely decorated and the fact that it is a top unit (nobody walking above) makes this condo absolutely ideal.

Ali'i Kai 5303 is a lovely spot to relax and unwind. The condo itself is in very good condition with many updates including beautiful granite countertops, and the furnishings are lovely and comfortable. The location is convenient, the view of the ocean is wonderful, the complex is nicely landscaped and there are walking paths along the golf course. We were fortunate that there were few children guests nearby as it could be noisier if more children were there, it tends to be a quiet location otherwise. I recommend it highly for golfing or walking/hiking, driving to nearby beautiful beaches, and general all-round relaxation.

Alli Kai 5303 was great! Amazing view of the ocean. We saw sea turtles right below our balcony in the water. We did a catamaran sail up Na Pali coast and a tube ride through sugar cane plantation. Awesome!!! Kauai is beautiful!

This unit is wonderful. Well furnished, comfortable, spectacular view (we saw whales from our lanai, living room, and bedroom!) Nice location, quiet, clean.

The unit was damaged by the big rain storm earlier this month, a fact that we learned upon arrival on Kauai. We were moved to another (5101). Did not care for the other unit, it was dark and somewhat dingy, and we specifically didn't want a ground floor unit) but were happy to have a place to stay. We moved to 5303 after a couple days and we couldn't have been happier. It was exactly what we wanted. We would definitely return.

We definitely plan to return to this unit Alii Kai 5303 in Princeville, HI. The view on the top floor was absolutely amazing. The top floor of this building was the best and I can't say enough about how fully equipped the condo is in every respect from the beautiful kitchen to all of the fantastic recreational items in the closet. This place is just the best!! Way beyond our highest expectations!

This condo had the most wonderful oceanviews!! I couldnt have chosen a more perfect location!!! The condo was spacious and located in a very quiet location. At night, we sat out on the lanai and enjoyed looking over the ocean and viewing the starry heavens, we even saw a shooting star! I will definitely be recommending this clean quiet spacious place that had amazing ocean views from the bedrooms and living room!!!

The Kauai experience is special. Loved access to remarkable beaches and vistas. View from condo was a beautiful look at the ocean and outrigger canoes, cruise ships, small craft and rain cloud approaching and moving away. The condo is close to market,
food, gas and othere good things. Hanalei is just a fet minutes away - with a beautiful beach, remarkable vista, and many good places to eat and such. Our party didn't want to leave.

Overall me and my husband were very satisfied of the vacation with Ahh Aloha. Great place, great furniture, everithing. But after our coming back home from the vacation we got message from the company that they found not all equipment after our departure (some dishes were disappeared). We were really disappointed that company presented disappearance to us. Some times later the company apologized and wrote us that it was mistake. So my advice to the company not to state such kind of problem to it's guests before sorting out the situation. And if it is needed to make check out with guests and company staff directly at the workplace, but not after guest leaving.

My nephew and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Kauai and Alii Kai 5303. Although we had a fair amount of rain, it never seemed to dampen our activities, even the 2 times we used the outdoor grills. I loved the temperpedic king matress in the master bedroom. Rarely does my vacation bed equal or exceed the one at home. If you plan on grilling often, be aware they are charcoal, not gas grills and timing your grilling between showers can be sometimes unsuccessful. The design of these units is great because you can leave your window shades wide open for the wonderful views but no one can see in for total privacy. Everything you need is in the kitchen, but be prepared to buy things like toilet paper, garbage bags, foil, detergent and things of this nature because you are not given those items in enough quantity to get you through a weeks stay. Some of those items are not even provided. But we expected that so this is not a complaint just an FYI for future planners.
Sandy, the rental agent is fabulous. Easy to reach and very helpful and really is interested in making your stay a delight. We originally were supposed to be in Alii Kai 5101, but the previous users soiled the carpets and since they could not be cleaned in time for our stay, she let us upgrade to 5303 without extra expense. This was very generous and I am sure not the norm, but made our trip even more special. I would stay at Alii Kai again in a heartbeat.

As past owners in this complex and routine condo renters, I would say this is one of the best. Only 4 stars on property condition because fire detector was left hanging from the ceiling -- which is more a reflection of the cleaning staff than how the condo is maintained.
We will be back to rent this condo again.

There are so many things to do in Kauai and Princeville is a great location to do them from. All the info needed and most of the gear ( beach towels, snorkle gear, boogie boards, ice chest etc) were already there in the condo. Even items for children including booster seats, porta cribs and utensils! It was like having our own place in Haiwaii without the cold feel of a hotel room. I would recommend this condo to anyone wether you want to hang out on the beach or go sightseeing to all the interesting sites around the island.

Sliding door definitely needs replacing. There was a lot of wind and the door wouldn't quite close making it drafty and slightly cold.
