  Absolutely loved my stay. The unit is spacious and exceptionally well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a home-away-from home in paradise.
  
  The ONLY negatives are the lack of cell phone reception and WiFi. (I was able to access the Internet with an ethernet cable--but it would have been nice to be able to do so outside or in different rooms.) But this was very minor compared to how wonderful everything else was--and the sunsets from the bluff were spectacular!

  My husband and I were beyond pleased with our stay at Alii Kai 5201. The unit had everything we needed, it felt like home. There was one glitch we could not use the WIFI. The Belkin worked one week during our month stay. Other than not being able to use our I Pad for communication with home. It was the best, and plan to return to the magnificent views.

  What an amazing time! Thank you so much for helping to make our vacation so special. My partner and I had never been to Kauai, and by the end of the trip we never wanted to leave. The condo was absolutely beautiful. Perfect location, fantastic view, beautiful yet comfortable interior. The entire rental experience was made smooth and easy. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone!!

  This is our second time staying at the Alii Kai. Once again, we were very happy. This unit isn't as nice as 5301, but it had lots of extras like beach toys, boogie boards an umbrella and cooler. Would happily stay here again.

  Everything about my stay at the Alii Kai 5201 was extremely satisfying. The condo has a great layout of rooms, spectacular views, nicely decorated, and made me feel at home. Since I had a hip problem, the easy access from parking to the unit without any stairs involved was an asset also. The shopping center was convenient as well. Overll I highly recommend the unit.

  Very nice condo. The bathroom could use some updating, but otherwise this is comfortable, pleasent place to stay, and the ocean view is terrific.

  Overall very happy with this condo. The location and view were excellent. The layout worked well and had all the amenities we wanted. It was great to fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves. The only negative was the noise from the 3rd floor. Whoever lives upstairs has very loud footsteps.

  Great views and ocean sounds. Nice and light. Living room is nicely furnished. Bathrooms could use some updating and lanai furniture needs to be replaced. Biggest problem is the noise from the rental condo upstairs. During our stay we had 2 different families staying above- the pitter patter of little feet is more like an elephant parade. You can even clearly hear adults walking, chairs being moved around dining room table, etc. I’m not a light sleeper, but the walking upstairs was enough to wake me at 4:05am and wake me from an afternoon nap. Thankfully there was no one in the unit below us, so we didn’t have to worry about keeping our children quiet/stop them from running. Overall good value for the cost, but bring ear plugs for sleeping.

  Our stay at the Alii Kai 5201 was great. Location could not be better. The property was a little dated but very comfortable. The pool was a little disappointing, but we visited the pool next door and found that to be much nicer. If booking again I would request a third floor unit. The second floor was very noisy when the people above walked around or in our case when the kids ran from room to room. Nut again I think that was the age of the complex. Over all I would consider the location as excellent and the room good.

  The master bed was queen size, a bit small for a large couple, although there is plenty of room for a king size bed. Kitchen was fully equipped, making home cooking just like home. Sleep to the sound of crashing waves and tropical breezes. Slight grade to reach the rocky beach to explore a tube cave directly down at the beach. View of the ocean was very good. Drive down to Hanelei Bay in ten minutes.

  Amazing view of the ocean. We sat on the lanai every morning and watched the show. They slapped their fins and their tales and jumped out of the water. There was always more than one group to watch. The condo is located in a very peaceful and beautiful location. Quiet and upscale neighbourhood. The condo was not as clean as I would have liked but it was bearable. The cleaners could pay attention to the top of the fridge and the floors as well as making sure the dishes and cutlery were clean from the prior guests. The light switches on the walls in the bedrooms did not work either but the bedside lamps worked. Also, a more comfortable bed would be great. I am not trying to discourage people from renting this unit I just think attention to a few minor items would make this a top notch vacation rental. I would consider staying here again because the ocean view and location were amazing. We appreciated having a cooler, beach chairs, boogie board, etc availalbe for our use. Especially the beach chairs and the cooler.

  This location was exceptional--a good view of the ocean and whale watching. The Laysan Albatross flew overhead as we sat on the balcony. The condo was well furnished and offered a nice selection of books. Overall, a perfect longterm rental.
