  The condo was very clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. we found all the conveniences of home that made our vacation truely relaxing. The Condo has a fully equiped kitchen, laundry facilities, and many of the extras we apprecaited such as beach towels, beach chairs, and a closet full of hats, coolers, backpacks and other gear. The ocean view from this condo is fantastic!
  
  We found the location to be very convenient to the places we wanted to spend our time. There are several great beaches within a few minutes drive. A Grocery store, resturants and shopping are close by and the Princeville area is a great place to relax.
  
  This is our first choice to stay on our next trip to Kauai

  Nice condo in a great location. About 2 miles to the Princeville Hotel which has a nice beach area to the side and a good coffee bar. The condo was a bit hot as it was not able to take advantage of the trade winds each evening but we enjoyed the view and the location.
  The kitchen could use more spices as we cooked our meals in most of the time. I have stayed other places and the spice cabinet was overloaded with things that i cannot take back with me but are too expensive to buy for a few uses. Overall the place is nice and comfortable.

  My partner and I manage 35 vacation rentals on the east side of the Big Island. So, when we decided to have some R & R on Kauai, we went to VRBO to do our seach. We came up with this incredible vacation rental. When we walked in, the ocean was RIGHT in front of us. What great views we had, even from both bedrooms.
  The condo has been completely remodeled and was done to perfection. The kitchen was fully equipped and we lacked for nothing. We immediately agreed that we were coming back to this unit the next time we visited Kauai. Highly recommended - just don't book it when we want it. Ron and Mark, Pahoa Hawaii

  The condo was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Lovely ocean views from all of our windows. There were a few chickens and noisy people nearby, but the sound of the ocean muffled their noise when we were sleeping.

  I travel to HI once a year, and I love the island of Kauai the most. North Shore is the only place I will stay on Kauai in the summer. I usually rent a more expensive condo, and I was a bit nervous renting at Alii Kai. I was overwhelmingly pleased when
  I arrived. The place was immaculate and I felt very safe and secure. There were live-in tenants in the complex, but all that I ran into were friendly and respectful. I did not experience any problem with noisy neighbors--I really felt that the condo was private,
  and I was content with the feeling of having the ocean to myself. I could hear my companions in the condo, so if you want to gossip, do it outside. The master bedroom was the highlight of my stay--I had it all to myself, and I loved the large bathroom with
  walk-in shower--and the view from the bedroom window--WOW. Some previous renters complained of the heat. I myself do not like to be hot; however, I just kept the place open and ventilated, and this kept the temperature beautifully cool. There was an occasional
  scout ant, but I never provided them with anything to report back to their army. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The linens/towels were good quality. The TVs (yes, there is one in the master bdrm as well) and cable were good.
  WiFi worked great. The sectional couch could be rethought--it kept sliding apart when we sat in it. Need new beach chairs. In summary, 5301 is a well-appointed and charming condo at a great value. If you are a Ritz Carlton kind of person that needs "white
  glove" service, then this may not be the place for you; however, I believe that the avid average traveler will be completely satisfied. I will definitely return and recommend to all who inquire. Aloha and mahalo nui loa!

  My fiance and I spent two weeks in this unit for our wedding and honeymoon in Kauai. Loved the location, beautifully decorated, spacious and a view to die for. We slept with the 'natural white noise' of the ocean waves. Only cons is that there is no air conditioning and we had to leave the windows and doors open to allow the breeze through the unit. The garbage disposal stopped up but the property manager fixed it the same day. The owner left information about recipes, local restaurants, to do, very helpful. All in all, I highly recommend the unit if the lack of air conditioning doesn't bother you but would love the best ocean view location.

  We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. The condo is comfortable and exceptionally clean. The views of the ocean are amazing and we spotted many whales and dolphins while drinking our morning coffee on the balcony. The amenities are new and the beds were more comfortable than most upscale hotels. We would highly recommend this unit and will stay here again.

  LOVE this condo! This was our first time using a vacation rental (being a resort-loyalist) and we fell in love. We watched the whales from our balcony and slept to the sound of the waves crashing at night. The granite kitchen is huge and the washer/dryer are nicer than mine! Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this to everyone. We actually stayed on the south shore Sheraton after this as 5301 was booked and got a bit depressed. This condo and view are unbeatable for the price!

  This was one of the best condos we stayed in Hawaii. The condo was not only clean but it's newly furnished with brand new furnitures and untensils. Fully equipped kitchen with high-end washer and dryer (except the dishwasher which could be better). Beautiful ocean front view. Highly recommend for family with young children. We would love to come back again.

  This recently renovated condo was a wonderful place to stay -- so much so that we didn't want to leave it. It's very comfortable--beds were super--and very clean, with lots of thoughtful decorative and practical touches and supplies, which another condo we stayed in didn't include. There are views of the Pacific(just down the cliff) or mountains from the lanai and all the rooms except the bathrooms. All the appliances worked--we loved the new stacking high efficiency washer and dryer. Ironically, of the three places we stayed-- another condo on the north shore of Oahu and a Waikiki hotel--this was the cheapest but by far the best. The only glitch we had was getting into it the first time, because the combination lock built into the front door took a little practice to use. I really want to stay here again the next time we visit Kauai.

  We loved this place in Kauai! It has a fantastic location. You see the ocean from the living room and from the bedrooms. The furniture is new and modern. There are roaches however and you need to make sure you take out your trash often to avoid it. Overall, a wonderful place and we would stay there again.
