  If you want a gorgeous location, this is the place. Condo was clean but could use updating, but a good value for the price. Linens and furniture were adequate, but nothing fancy. This location is fabulous because of the view! You can sit and look out the windows all day long. If you want beachfront this isn't the place to stay, but if you want to relax with a gorgeous view, stay in J3. We would definitely stay here again to relax and recupe. Very close to Princeville stores. Easy drive to Hanalei for shopping and meals. We enjoyed Hanalei the most for meals and beaches.

  Although we have been to Sealodge over the past 35 years many times,this years expereince was especially unique. Our past trips always included our three children and sometimes our best friends; but this year, just my husband and I vacationed at Sealodge, where we spent ten day of glorious relaxation on the most beautiful spot in the world. Woke up to beautiful sunrises, read, hiked, played tennis, kyak, ate fabulous meals and of course witnessed show stopping sunsets. We cant wait to return and would of course recommend Sealodeg to anyone.

  We had a great time at Sealodge in Princeville, Kauai. Convenient location, close to all restaurants and shops in Hanalei, only 10 min drive. The condition of the condo was a little dated, but it was clean and had some of the best ocean views.

  We had a wonderful time at Sealodge J3. The views are simply awesome. I thought the size of the condo was a little small but for a small family (2 adults and a toddler) it was fine.

  Some of the property's built-in plumbing was old and VERY noisy while operating. Shower, washer and dryer, all WAY too noisy. Need to be replaced. Shower makes 'screaming' noises while water is running. Toilet takes about five minutes to go through one 'flush'. Garbage disposal in sink is antiquated and stopped up the first time we used it, with almost nothing placed in it. Dishes were minimal and there should be enough to serve a family of four, given that the place has beds for four people. But there were three of most dishes. Stove was terrible. Needs to be replaced. In general, appliances were old or cheap and should be replaced. Some of 'decorator' pillows were shabby and should be replaced. Seat cushions are stained. We had to ask for 'extra' pillowcases because the linens were insufficient to the number of pillows needed for four guests (again, the unit accommodates four people, so there should be four of everything!) We had to ask the housekeeping staff to bring more hand soup and toilet paper because they had not left enough for four people for one week's stay. The place was 'miserly' in small ways, too many small ways. The location was marvelous and perfect and the views from the windows were wonderful, so we will probably stay there again, but we'll ask questions about appliances and equipment before we do.

  Everything about this condo was amazing! From the second we arrived to when we left we could not get over the beautiful view. It was truly an awesome stay. My BIGGEST complaint would be the absence of non-stick pots and pans! A quick trip to Costco would take care of this problem and would make cooking AND cleaning a lot easier. Also a sponge or scrub brush would be helpful (considering the awful pans!). Otherwise, everything was great.

  It's hard to imagine a better view, especially for the price. J3 seems to have one of the best views in Princeville. The decor is a bit dated and the furniture isn't very comfortable, but we came for the view which is outstanding. The location is very quiet, private and relaxing. We would definitely stay in J3 again.

  There were a few cosmetic issues (nicks and rust) with the furniture and appliances. But the view & breezes more than made up for that. I walked into the living room and gasped at the sunrise the first morning.
  
  Sat on the patio and watched a parade of whales. This is one of the best views in Sealodge. And when I had an issue with the Internet it was resolved instantly. The rental process was a pleasure, as well.

  The stereo wasn't working. The phone and internet were not working on arrival. We called someone on our second day and a young man came out but could not fix it. We managed to plug in for phone or internet but not both, this was after removing the wall plate and fiddling for quite sometime. No champagne glasses and only 2 miss matched different sized wine glasses. We had very nice champagne and wine with us so for a couple of winos that was a disappointment. The coffee machine did not work, we poured hot water through the top filter. The closet light did not work, looks like someone broke it off inside the socket so we didn't try to change the bulb. Very small bed and the pillows were very fat. With the view in this place and the low season price the deficiencies seemed to go away.( would not have been happy if we payed peak time pricing)

  The unit has a superb view location. The furniture is fine, however, it has only been partially remodeled. The bathroom needs to be ripped out and redone, the kitchen could use some updating as well as a replenishing of cooking and storage items. We appreciated the beach towels as well as the cooler. The beach umbrella was ok. We rented beach chairs. Dryer was extremely noisy. The kitchen light was out and the CD player didn't work. We called David and he was less than enthusiastic to come and help us. Fortunately, Kelly(?) came to check to see if the unit was clean(it was) and she helped us figure out how to play a CD in the TV DVD player per David's suggestion. We also appreciated being allowed to check in early.

  We had a wonderful time, and this property was very conveniently located. The location was perfect for sunrise and the sound of the ocean waves beneath us. There were beach chairs, umbrella and cooler provided which were unexpected but very useful. The appliances were quite loud, and the plumbing howled in the shower. Overall a wonderful location at a great price.

  This condo had the most magnificent views possible. From the patio and windows you could see all the way to the lighthouse. On our first night, we could not get the TV to work. We contacted David who sent Eric over to help us. Eric went out of his way to solve the problem (needed new batteries in the remote). He was friendly and extremely polite and efficient! We would love to stay there again if the opportunity arises.

  Two rolls of toilet paper, two very small bars of soap, pots and pans from the 1970's with no Teflon for ease of cooking making everything you cook get burnt I would Grade an "F" The TV had a black square in it constantly and after calls still the problem existed. I would rate the on site Manager as A++++ David was great. The place was great as I stated above. However, the owner needs to update a few items for cooking as it was like going back 30 years ago.
