  The views from all the windows in this top floor condo are stunning as we can look east to the sunrises and the lighthouse and west to sunsets and the Bali Hai mountains and always the everchanging sky and water. The grounds are manicured and the gardens full of all the tropicals. The tasteful decor and quality art pieces in the condo are perfect for the island setting. Cooks will be happy with the kitchen well-equipped with everything from a blender to a good set of knives. The beachgoer will be happy with a cupboard full of everyhing from snorkel gear to towels, chairs, umbrellas and coolers. The guidebooks, the binoculars even the underwater cameras all help the tourist to fully enjoy the island experience.We honestly could not think of anything we would add to D8.
  It's one of the few places that we would request again.

  This was our second time staying in Sealodge D8. Very nice. Everything you could possibly need is available, including snorkel gear, beach chairs and for us this trip a large umbrella! We had 5 days of RAIN. There were some tiny bugs around the kitchen that would go for even a water glass. We sprayed raid and that helped. Had them the first stay also. Great place to stay.Great location.

  We found this condo to be very clean and quiet. It is on the 3rd floor with 30 steps but that was a plus, no one above us. The view was great but somewhat limited by the building.
  The window seat was excellent for reading/watching the ocean. The condo was well stocked with snorkling equipment and even had a few staples in the kitchen. The BBQ was not accessable. Parking was fine. A nice place to stay.

  It was our second stay at the Sealodge D8 and and we weren't disappointed. The view is amazing and the condo is well decorated. The A/C is not necessary, as soon as you open the windows the trade winds cool down the room quickly. Very enjoyed our stay. The North Shore of Kauai is beautiful.

  We have stayed at Sealodge several times now and will not stay anywhere else in Kauai, especially during the summer months when it's generally sunny. The view is beautiful and Sealodge condos facing east have constant trade winds to keep them cool and
  comfortable. Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rental Company has always been great to work with as well.

  Great location on the island and the view was wonderful. Unit was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Included everything you needed for the beach (2 beach chairs, 2 small coolers with ice packs, umbrella, beach mats, snorkelling gear, beach towels, etc...) The place was absolutely PERFECT!

  The interior of this condo is extremely nicely furnished. Also the ability to watch sunrise while still in bed, and watch sunset out the kitchen window, make this place unbeatable. We'd stay there again.

  Wonderful Condo on Sealodge that had everything from towels, hair dryer, to snorkeling gears. We absolutely loved this place the first moment we walked in! The view was stunning. This was paradise on the beautiful that island that is Kauai. 12 days were too short here. We will be back!

  This lodge was a wonderful delight as also mentioned in handwritten reviews inside the lodge's guest book. I very rarely give 5 stars to anyways but this deserved it!

• The view was amazing! The condo was very clean, and great necessitys. It was a special treat to eat out on the deck every morning and to wake up to the sunrise out the window next to the bed. We loved it and would return.

  This condo is a lovely place to stay. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and wind and waking up to a beautiful view of the ocean/coastline right out the bedroom's huge window is magical. The deck is very private and also looks out over the ocean/coastline. There are coolers, chairs, snorkeling gear..everything you need for a wonderful vacation. THe location of this condo is near many beautiful beaches, attractions and the nice little town of Hanalei. The coastline below the property is also beautiful. The walk is a bit steep but worth it. Overall it's a great place - Mahalo to the owners for sharing!

  We loved this place - quiet, relaxing, great view. They have everything you would need for fun - boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, binoculars for whale watching, books - including some on Kauai, as well as a fish identifier for coral reefs. We had a great time. Couple small items - bring your own conditioner and don't leave food out or the ants will come (but they are small, cute ants :-)

  The location and the condo were great. We did have problems with ants and the massive Kaua'i cockroaches running around everywhere though they were coming to spray pesticide the day after we left.

  We loved D8, when we walked in we thought it was just beautiful, the furnishings were lovely, the views were wonderful, we were very happy with D8, so much so that if we returned to the north shore we would love to stay in this unit again.   D-8 along with the entire complex is awesome. This unit had everything we needed - snorkel gear, lounge chairs, etc. The kitchen utensils and all items were all in excellent condition. Unit was on third floor with exceptional views of water and lighthouse. It's also positioned well for the tradewind breeze during those hot days.
  I only have two negatives - the first is minor in that the cooler for the beach had the top flange broke (still kept the beer nice and cold).
  The last negative was all my fault - the owner has a really nice Welcome diary where lots of folks filled out (nice reading). We had to leave early and forgot to fill in our stay the night before. We will return to D-8 next time. Mahalo!!!

  Fantastic view of ocean (lanai, bedroom, bay window) and mountains (porch). Clean, nicely decorated. The TV/DVD did not always work, but you're on vacation, right? Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the condo is also a big plus. Wish it had an easier walk to the beach, but otherwise - a FANTASTIC place to unwind. No reservations in recommending this fantastic top floor condo unit.
