  Vacation Rental was very good overall. Kitchen in B8 was not the greatest... Very small sink and an older stove, but everything worked. Location was nice and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable.

  Great location on the edge of the cliffs, which might be a little nerve wracking for parents with small children.
  
  Sound travels easily so you'll need to keep your music down at night.
  
  Locals were very friendly. Amazing island to visit.

  The unit was spotless when we arrived. We love this unit with its privacy and view of the mountains and ocean and sunset. If you wish to stay in a condo on the north side of Kauai, we recommend SeaLodge. This is our fifth visit to SeaLodge. We are in a rut, but we like it there.

  Instructions say to bring a cable for internet. Don't need one. Unit has wireless internet. Very nice.

  A modest but well-maintained condo in a very quiet area. Great access to a small and secluded beach. A great alternative to joining the tourist hordes at one of the resorts.

  This was a very nice unit, perfect for our generation as it was definitely 80's decor. Everything was clean, and in working order with the exception of the screen door to the balcony area which needs to be replaced soon. It was also very quiet being down at the end of the complex and easy to get in and out of. Walking to the golf course for additional exercise was optional,but most guests chose to drive and then park somewhere closer. The pool is not heated in the winter so was not really available for swimming, but sunning by it was fine. No hot tub is available which I would have enjoyed if there had been one. For the money this was very affordable and we would consider staying here again but at a different time of year rather than February.

  The Albatross nesting in the cliffs below my condo was wonderful, especially with the occasional bit of bill-clacking during the night. A joy! - Not a disturbance. Proximity to Kilauea Lighthouse NWR and other birdy areas was a great plus. And seeing whales from the deck was wonderful. The condo was cozy, functional, and very comfortable. Some may find it too rustic, but I was delighted. The only problems were a stuck kitchen drawer (David fixed it) and can lights over the range that turned off and back on spontaneously. He tried unsuccessfully to fix it and that needs attention. I would happily stay there again.

  We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sea Lodge and Princeville. We liked the location, the view, the layout of our rental, and the accomodating owner. Our only (minor) suggestion would be some space in a chest of drawers.

  This is the perfect tree house getaway. For an outdoorsy couple who wants the advantages of a kitchen and laundry and the comfort of exploring without hassle - this place is awesome. Very close to Hanalei.

  i loved the view from nearly every window. as you fall asleep the huge window by the bed lets you look up at the stars and hear the ocean. when you wake up, the ocean glimmers through the window not far away. i spent most of my days on the window seat because one could see the jagged emerald mountains, tropical forest and ocean from there. don't miss walking the forest path down to sealodge beach. it is gorgeous and secluded and usually only one other person is there (if anyone at all). i was thrilled with the location. it is minutes away from nearly all the nature inspiring spots on the island: queen's ath, blue room, tunnels, ke'e beach and path. it's also near a health food store which for me was plus. the kitchen is well stocked which i liked because i cook. i wanted to come back and stay for a month, but it was already booked. enjoy!

  We were pleasantly surprised with the Sealodge B8. We had a good idea in our head of what to expect when we opened the door, but the pictures we saw online didn't do this place justice! It was ALOT bigger than we thought! We absolutely loved our experience there. The view off the coast was great and the sunsets were incredible. The north side of the island is by far our favorite and being in Princeville we weren't far from anything we wanted to do. I highly recommend anyone heading to Kauai to seriously consider the Sealodge. We will definitely be heading back here in a couple of years!!!

  Handy to have a beautiful beach down the hill. Could use a few zip lok bags in kitchen. This unit does have wireless internet despite what paperwork says. Very nice.
