  Overall it was a wonderful experience. There few distractions; not enough hot water to fill the tub, one of the sinks in the bath drained very slowly, and the deck furniture was in need of replacement.

  This is my second stay and I love the views and the location can't be beat. A chair on the patio needs to be repaired and the umbrella on the patio needs to be replaced but the staff is responsive. I look forward to going back next year again. Love this

  To be ULTRA picky, the only sniggling detail was the fact we were told that there was no wireless. Because of this, we spent lots of brain cells looking for an ethernet cord, then finally deciding to only take one computer with us -which turned out to be challenging because we did have some work to do. When we arrived: Voila! Wireless! THAT would have been great to have known beforehand. But, again, that's being picky. We just love it there. Thanks for another great vacation.
  
  Oh! One more thing: For until 403, there was no information regarding clean up. In the other units, there was a sheet letting us know what was expected (wash sheets, etc.). For 403, there was no information provided. We cleaned as best we could, washed dishes and towels, but did not wash sheets. Again, small detail. Thank you.

  We enjoyed Puu Poa 403 very much. The location cannot be beat, and we love the view. The only complaint is that the carpet and furniture is stained in many places- while rationally we know these stains do not mean the place was dirty, they still are unattractive. We stayed at another Puu Poa house with no stains, and we'd be more likely to stay there again.

  We loved everything about the condo! The views of the ocean from the living room and the lanai are breathtaking! The house is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes we'd ever need.
  The pool located on the bluff overlooking the ocean was super relaxing too!
  The princeville center with all its shops and restaurants is only 2 miles away and it's only a short walk to wonderful beaches!
  Wish we'd stayed longer!

• It was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the view, You are high enough to have a great view of the whales and dolphins. Our only complaint, is that the back bedroom did not have a shade on the window, which let in the morning sun @ car light

  The unit was wonderful! This was the fourth time we have rented a condo at Puu Poa (different units each time) and loved this unit! Internet access was hit and miss and the toaster was broken but other than that, we could not have asked for nicer, well equipped unit!

  Okay, this was our first trip to Kauai, and as all other "firsts" in life, there's always great expectations. Unfortunately, mother nature didn't cooperate it. We landed during one of the rainiest times ever, plus our granddaughter got sick. We ended up visiting the docs and hospital in Lihue more than the beaches. In addition, the condo next door was undergoing major remodeling, so the sawing and hammering put a damper on the afternoon naps. Even so, the view was incredible and the spaciousness of the condo felt yummy. Also, Jeanie Riccardi was FABulous! We learned to trust her to book the right stuff. As a local with a big heart, she knows what she's talking about. Three suggestions to improve from a four- a five-star are: fix the small window screen in the kitchen; change the too-plump-foam pillows (we ended up buying more comfy ones at WalMart), and add some lighting to the deck (lanai). Would stay at any Ahh Vacation Rental spot again! Cathy and Sandy were so genuinely caring and concerned about our happiness!

  This truly was a lovely place to stay. However, an attention to a few little details would have vastly improved the quality of our stay. For example, some sort of low, outdoor lighting on the lanai would have added atmosphere to that area AND prevented us from tripping on the shallow (invisible at night) stairs. A working stereo or CD player (or instructions for how to make the existing equipment work) would have also helped us create more of a festive ambiance. And someone should have thrown away the broken glassware that had just been placed back in the cupboard. That said, though, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

  The view and location can not be matched it is heavenly. I highly recommended staying at this unit. However, it does need some work done. The CD player was broken, the tub was broken would not hold water the fan was also broken in the same bathroom. The candles were completely burned down there were two lights out as well. The maintance man did replace the CD player. It is still a remarkable place to stay in Kauai. I am already planning my next trip back.

  Great location & Great Condo. My wife and I were on Honeymoon in Kauai for 12 days. This condo was perfect. The sunsets were amazing. We loved the close beach access and the great snorkeling just below. Very quiet area, a little road noise with windows open but it was masked by sounds from the Ocean. We will definitely be coming back to Pu'u Poa!

  Condo was great location and view. It was close to most activities we selected. Condo was very well equipped with kitchen items and we cooked almost every meal. Didn't find the beach items in outside closet until near end of the stay. Only complaint is not enough hot water to fill the Japanese soaking tub. Really wanted to use the tub after being sore from hiking.
