  Wonderful experience and location. I would recommend this location to others. The furniture in our unit was outdated and showed ware. Screens and locks on balcony doors need to be replaced. Does not have AC which could make the unit very hot in summer months.

  I must admit, this location was part of the success of my trip. This location is great; close to shops, restaurants but far enough so that all you can hear is the ocean and the birds. If you are looking for a great location, that you can feel the ocean in your dreams - this is your spot!

  The plus for this unit is a tremendous location perched above a lava cliff. You look straight out to the ocean; to the left there is a beautiful cliff with trees, palms, and below it lava rocks where the waves wash up. To the right is the pool, another
  lava formation with Palm trees and you can watch and hear the waves crashing there as well. One negative is that directly beneath this unit is a large deck for the unit beneath, so if you look directly down you look at the deck & other people enjoying
  the view. The rest of the view overcame that for us. While the unit has been updated with granite counters in the kitchen, etc., because it is directly on the water there are the usual maintenance issues; the sliding glass doors are hard to open and close,
  the screen doors are also difficult to slide. There is no air conditioning; there are 3 very effective ceiling fans, and a floor fan in a closet. We enjoyed beautiful breezes the entire 8 days we were there, but had the three ceiling fans on whenever we were
  in the unit. This was August and the temps were 84-86 during the day. I suppose if it were over 90, it could be uncomfortable without air conditioning. All in all, we had a marvelous time and still marvel at watching the waves crash and spray, and also the
  sea turtles. It was very quiet and if you enjoy the ocean waves the location can't be beat.

  This condo is beautiful and very nicely located. We stayed for 6 days in November, 2010 and we loved it. It is nicely equipped if you prefer to do your own cooking, which you will try if you visit any of the Kauai's bountiful farmer's market.

  We stayed at Poipu Shores B202 for 3 nights during our honeymoon. The condo is amazing- chock full of style, amenities and an incredible view. At night we went to sleep listening to the crashing waves and in the morning we watched sea turtles feeding while we had breakfast. The staff seems on top of maintenance issues. They will enter (with advanced notice) to repair things while you are there if necessary. While we were guests there, some hoses to the hot water heater were replaced as a preventative measure due to failed hoses in another unit. Overall we had a great stay and the people we encountered were nice.

  Views from the lanai are incredible. At one point, I counted ten separate turtles while eating poke on the lanai. You won't find a location closer to the water in Kaua'i. In fact, it's so close, that the surf may be too loud for you (it wasn't for us). Loved this place - will definitely be back.

  The view and the sound are what make this place spectacular. Waves crash against the lava rocks round the clock, and it's soothing. The condo itself is not spectacular, but it has everything you need and it's a great place to hole up.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Poipu Shores Unit 202B. The view is fantastic and the location good for travel to both the north side and west side of the island. The newly remodeled kitchen is great for cooks, but my only complaint is the cookware needs to be replaced as it is incredibly scratched up which makes cooking difficult. Not having air conditioining was a bit of a surprise but with all of the breezes coming off the water (it's only 35 feet away) it was't a big deal. Having the bedrooms separate is also good for two couples. We would definitley book there again (I may just bring my own cookware!)Aloha!

• We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Location was excellent and the property was perfect for our needs. Only recommendation would be to supply more detailed directions from the airport. Arriving after dark it was hard to find with no street names given.
