  It was clean, the view is great, quiet, which is what I wanted to get some work done at the end of my vacation. Princeville is like the suburbs and not Hawaii, but it is also five minutes from Hanalei, which is Hawaii, so what's not to like? I want to go back and get more work done soon!

  Our condo was right on the bluff overlooking the Hanalei bay. We were convenient to the Regency Resort and beach. Very cool paved path to private beach below our condo. Very private and relaxing. I was lucky to have made this choice via internet as I was very pleased with our location and the condo was clean and all we needed. Location Location they say!

  Hello ,
  My husband and I just returned from our 3 day stay at Pali Ke Kua and were quite satisfied with it all.
  The condo was well equipped and furnished and more than adequate for two people.
  We unfortunately did not get a chance to use the restaurant or the on-site swimming pool, as with a car the beaches, hiking trails etc are within a comfortable driving distance.
  And, it goes without saying the view was spectacular and so beautiful, we had our dinner most nights on the lanai.
  So, our thanks to you and the owners for a very pleasant stay and hope we can someday return!

  Aloha ! We enjoyed our stay at the condo , fabulous location and all the amenities you could ever wish. Air condition only in the bedroom, but we never used it as the fans kept the condo nice and cool all day long. Can highly recommend it, and will love to return as soon as possible !

  We were very satisfied with our stay. The only closely negative thing I can think of is that instead of A/C there was a water cooler in the bedroom. In the late afternoons, because of the heat and the condo facing west, we just found other places to be instead, which was not hard to do at all.

  The view from Pali Ke Kua is breath taking. We loved being on the ground floor and being able to walk out. The flowers and the grounds are immaculate.
  
  We cooked breakfast in and found that the frying pans were awful and so we bought a new fry pan and spatula which we left there. They could also use some better knives.
  
  But overall it was very well appointed and we throughly enjoyed it. We could not have survived without the A/C in the bedroom though.

  For the first few days, there were many workmen making a great deal of noise. Then the owners arrived and they were worse. The first morning they were there , they were up at 5:00 AM clomping about and speaking very loudly. Though the hour of awakening improved gradually, the daytime and evening noise continued unabated. This detracted from our ability to relax and enjoy ourselves. I would only recommend this very nice unit in the absence of upstairs neighbors.

  The patio has a nice view and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We had trouble with fruit flies the first night as the windows had obviously been left open to air the place out. If the fruit flies become a problem you will need to close a few windows on street side. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

  We visit Kauai ofen, and have tried other properties in the Princeville area. However, we always return to Pale Ke Kua, for the views. Unit #119 has a perfect location overlooking all of Hanalei Beach. The beach and pool at this property are it's all about the view.

• The location and general condition of the condo was excellent. We also found that the prices at the Foodland supermarket in Princeville were generally in the same range as the Safeway in Kapaa with Foodland being much closer.

  The Teac CD player in the condo did not work. We could not play music CDs. The Teac entertainment system also did not have an FM antenna so no FM radio reception either. The Teac system would not play audio for the TV as well. There were also several lights in the condo that were not working.

  We had a great stay at Pali Ke Kua. The view from our condo was great. One recommendation is to supply directions to the trail that leads to the beach, and maybe even the trail that is down the road a bit by St. Regis. We knew the beaches existed, but had to search for the trails a bit. Great time!

  Having just returned following a week's stay at this lovely condo on the North Shores, we can only give it our very best recommendation. It met with all of our expectations.
  The condo is well designed for two people. Light and spacious, well kept and with nice solid cane furnishing and all the utensils you may wish for at a holiday condo. Shower bath which was fine with us.
  The very best about the condo is, however, it's breathtaking views of the ocean with Bali Hari as a true tropic backdrop. 180 degree ocean/mountains!!! Turning towards west the condo enjoys to-die-for sunset views.
  The condo is located in a building with only 4 condos and hence we didn't experience any noise or discomforts from being on the ground floor (although admittedly you cannot avoid hearing footsteps from the condo above) In the contrary we enjoyed thoroughly being on the ground floor adding the lawn area in front of the terrace to our 'private area. The terrace is covered, so being sun-lovers being able to pull out the sun loungers on the grass in the morning hours was something we enjoyed very much.
  This particular condo has an extra window in the dining area allowing for extended sea views also when seated indoor while the bedroom window turns towards a tiny flower clad hill next to the parking lot meaning, that we had no one passing by or looking into that room.
  The condo is likewise in the very ocean front row few yards from the edge of the bluff only, hence the breathtaking view from kitchen/livingroom/dining area and terrace.
  The entire PALI KE KUA Compound is very nice and very well kept up. Gardeners were watched daily keeping up the manicured park-like garden. Ample parking space is found right outside your door - and the compound has a private paved (but very steep) path down to the rocky beach right in front offering a tropical setting and swimming-snorkel opportunities. Some 100-200 yards away (just to the right of the St. Regis Hotel) is a public pa

  The view was sensational and the condo met expectations. A couple of suggestions - The sliding door needs replacement (makes a lot of noise) and new towels and linens would be beneficial. Many of the towels are old and torn. Jill and her husband who cleaned the condo were very accommodating.

  It is still a little difficult for us to describe this amazingly beautiful place with its breath-taking views on Bali Hai sunrises and sunsets!
  Whatever you want to do (swimming/ snorkeling, BBQ right next to the beach, hiking the Kalalau trail, shopping, sunbathing, e-mailing your loved-ones at home that you found paradise... - it's all there and not far to reach.

  Pali Ke Kua is an very upscale vacation area. Our condo at 119 offers one of the most beautiful views in the world. The decor of the condo is perfect for this cliff side area. I would highly recommend an ocean view at Pali Ke Kua. Everything from the web site, to the booking process, to the details provided, to your very first step into the unit, to your first view out over the Pacific Ocean is wonderful. I suggest you take a lot of pictures (still and video) and enjoy every moment of your time at Pali Ke Kua because a visit of any length is always too short.
