  I opened the front door and was stopped in my tracks from the view before me. It is spectacular. We didn't have to go whale watching because we saw many putting on a show for us. The house fit our family perfectly. Good location, etc.

  La Ina accommodates 4 married couples perfectly, each bedroom with private bathroom. The hot tub, gas grill and furniture on lanai was most welcoming at the end of each day. The property overlooks the ocean so crashing waves were our nighttime music! The house sits in a quiet neighborhood high up from the beach, possibly not suitable for young children. I would definitely come back!

  There are not TVs in any of the rooms. No digital telescope, at least that we saw. The description should probably mention that the loft is located in one of the queen master bedrooms. The view is gorgeous in this house! We saw whales from our balconies, it was amazing! We loved our stay here and look forward to future stays!

  We were very impressed with the overall quality of the place. Fantastic location, great view. Quick walk to great snorkelling. Quick drive to everything else.

• Wonderful property. Well kept. Felt like home. Only two suggestions: 1. Extend the deck out a bit. There was little sun and no room for tanning / lounging. 2. Have televisions in all the bedroom suites.

  Waking up in La Ina everyday was a surreal experience. The incredible ocean view from pretty much every room in the house was just mesmerizing and our group found it tough to leave at the end of our week. The neighborhood is quiet and located conveniently near a small shopping center. The only critique our group had was the walk to our beach. The description was a bit misleading as it said it was down a short path. In reality, the entrance is through a neighbors' driveway and then you must follow a tricky path over water, roots, and rock to reach the beach. Don't get me wrong, we had a lot of fun once we got there but no one was looking forward to the hike back up. Regardless, our group had a blast at the house and can't wait to get back to Kauai! Mahalo Ahh Aloha Kauai!

  Everything about the home was outstanding. We enjoyed every aspect. Starting with the view, the attached bathroom for each room, amazing ventilation, the jacuzzi with the ocean view, etc, etc, etc. Simply Awesome place!

  We absolutely love this house and the location. It was beautiful! It has an awesome view, beautiful furnishings and decorations. The only disappointment of our stay was that house was not clean when we arrived. For the amount of money we paid for cleaning fees, we expected it to be much cleaner. Instead we found opened chip bags under a bed, used water bottles on the floor, and spider webs in most every room. The ceiling fan in the main room did not work and the maintenance team didn't seem interested in ever getting it fixed. I hope this helps the owners find good help, their house is magnificent and deserves better care.

    We agree with you that this gorgeous house deserves the best of care! As a result, we have replaced the housekeeper, and our cleaning inspector now checks the property prior to every check-in. We never again want a guest to arrive to find the house in less than perfect condition.

  Wonderful property! 2 things we noticed: You advertised telescopes but they appear to be in disrepair. Also the ceiling fan in the living room (central room w/ TV) did not appear to work. All in all, a fantastic location - mahalo!
