  We had a great time. The home was so nice for our family of 6. Could all be together comfortably, cook in the evenings, wash clothes and have lots of space to spread out when needed. What a wonderful home! The price was so reasonable and staff always helpful. Enjoyed Jeanie's guidance about activities and surfing. Only suggestion would be to leave a map with how to walk to the nearest beaches. I could never figure that out. Thanks so much.

  We enjoyed our stay but, some improvement are needed. We were unable to turn off the jets on the hot tub. We called for assistance,someone came out and helped us get the jets turned off. He said he would have a spa maintenance person attend to the problem. We never saw anyone to correct the problem. A spa service person came by, I guess, doing his regular route and noted the problem.
  
  The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced.
  
  In the check-in/out instructions, please add a note about recycling procedures. Also, the 5 loads of laundry limit needs an more clear explanation.

  Loved the amenities in our home, view from upstairs, and quietness of the neighborhood. Missed proximity to the beach. We'll try for closer next time. Otherwise location was good.

  Beautiful home in lovely location. In July the lack of AC was a little hot, especially in the twin bed room, but otherwise a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. Many really special touches to the home. The art was beautiful, but the rooster flatware was my favorite. Never stayed on the North Shore before. Foodland is the best grocery store in Kauai.

  Was initially concerned about no AC but was quickly at ease when the house was cooled down by opening all the windows. A little disappointed with the ocean view (none)and beach location was more than 8 minute walk, my boys found it but it took them at least 30 minutes. A bit far for some of the party members

    You didn't find the right beach access, it's really close...just down to the end of the road and through the Hanalei Bay Resort!

  We've stayed at Hale Ohana before, and came back again because of the layout, condition and location of the home. Happy to see you have a new gas grill, it worked fantastic. Also happy to have all the beach chairs available in the garage. The only improvements I think it needs are: new pillows, the current ones are lumpy and stained, fresh coat of paint on the light colored walls upstairs, thorough cleaning of doors (both sides) and the bathroom towels need to be replaced because they are stained by teenagers using benzoyl peroxide on their pimples and rubbing it off onto the towels.
  We will come back again next year!

  Everything was great .I feel a BIG plus is the hot tub after a day of hiking, biking and traveling, plus the view of the stars and moon through the palms can't be beat....we didn't use all the rooms but the privacy is nice and the extra space is just like home.

  We enjoyed our stay it was a very comfortable home. The Linai and view were just beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked minus a coffee maker, which we love coffee so was a bit of a pain for us to have to go down every morning and buy it, but the local shops probably loved the business! The location was great would love to have directions to queens bath would never have found it if not for our guide book. Loved the yard the kitchen, duel head shower in master, laundry room was great, very comfortable for 6 to 10 people. Home was beautiful.
