  This unit is one of the prime locations for being right on the ocean. We fell asleep to the sound of the surf and woke up to it, and that is what we were looking for during our stay in Kauai.
  The unit is spacious, and well kept.
  I have read in reviews about the wood floor, and it really was not installed properly. I would suggest going back to the person/company that installed it, and having them make a correction. The neighbors below us said they could hear us walking because of the noise of the wood floor. That made us try to be extra quiet at night or early morning.
  Overall, we were pleased with the accomodations.

  The condo was clean, very much as described, quiet, and easy to find. We had a wonderful 10 days here. We marked a 4 out of 5 stars for cleanliness because there was some sand under the entertainment center (which I didn't find till about day 5) and we had one unwanted visitor in the form of a cockroach. I know that they are common on the island and we gladly killed it. The blender didn't work. The bamboo flooring was beautiful, but my husband, being a contractor, thought it was poorly installed. These are VERY small complaints for the amount of fun and relaxation we had here. We were very happy with our stay and will highly reccommend it to anyone. Hope to come back soon!

  Booking with Ahh Aloha was very easy and efficient, they did a great job! Everything was as stated in the check in instructions and the directions to the property were very easy. The property itself was wonderful, beautiful views from both bedrooms and living room. Very quiet complex, although the sound carries quite a bit from the Cliffs complex next door, but this wasn't an issue as it did not continue into the late evening hours. We could tell that the owners take very good care of their unit because everything was in very good condition. I would definitely stay here again, as we enjoyed our stay so much.

  The unit was exactly like the pictures on the web site. Furniture was super comfy! The views were absolutely amazing! Got to see many whales from our lanai. Very quiet and restful. Will definitely stay again.
  Would be helpful to have more info in the unit on the property (where do we take recyclables, housekeeping phone number, barbeque locations, maybe a table for eating breakfast on the lanai) but other than that excellent!

  couple of negatives: there were no paper towels in the holder. the wood floors need to be fixed. they were buckled in all of the rooms. that was very noisey and made it difficult to walk.

  This was a great experience and lovely place to stay. The only issue we had was there were no beach towels (even though I was told there would be). I called the manager who said he would bring some out the next day but we never did see them. We just ended up using bath towels. Also it appears that the wood flooring is warped, probably due to no underlayment. This makes walking on the floor loud and annoying. If this was fixed the condo would be a perfect place to stay.

  Pictures don't do this place justice. The Cali King bed is dangerously comfy. Had everything we needed to make our Kauai stay excellent. Would recommend this condo to anyone, especially those who like to go to sleep early!

  My husband and I stayed at Ali'i Kai 7204 for our honeymoon at the end of July 2010. It was lovely! We enjoyed the location with its ocean views. It was nice waking up and seeing the sea without ever leaving the bed! We felt so relaxed there that we would often lounge around all morning and only leave for the beach in the afternoon.
  
  It gets true ocean views from the master bedroom and second bedroom, as well as two different views from the living room--through the sliding glass door and through the window near the entry door. The breeze from the ocean is so refreshing we didn't miss air conditioning.
  
  It was generally quiet (although small children were yelling outside our window at 6:30 AM on our last day there).
  
  7204 was clean and well-maintained. Everything in the apartment worked well, and nothing was broken. Even when it rained very hard, all of the windows shut out the rain, and there was no leaking in the roof. The pool was pleasant and clean.
  
  We liked some of the added touches--the discount card for Foodland, for example. The decor was tasteful. The condo had enough essential items (soaps, toilet paper) to last us a week.
  
  The kitchen knives need to be sharpened, but the kitchen had all of the other major basics (cutting boards, frying pans, spatulas, salad bowls, salt, pepper, etc.) It also had some ant spray, which we used to control some of Kaua'i's unavoidable ants.
  
  We did have a few minor complaints: the two main pillows in the master bedroom were mildewy. (All the others seemed fine.) The plastic on both the master and second bedroom mattresses was awful. The master bedroom's plastic was so loud and uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep there. The second bedroom's mattress plastic was better, but still was not great. The 9-volt battery on the smoke detector went dead on our first night there, so we removed it and replaced it with a new one the next day.

• Absolutely beautiful ocean views! Codo was comfortable and clean with the exception of a dirty stain on one of the couch cushions. Great location for North shore activities! I would stay there again.

  The location was perfect - a beautiful view of the ocean from our lanai and our bedrooms, hearing the sound of waves falling asleep. The condo was in a very good condition, the only complaint we had was an unpleasent smell in the living room - I think that the sofa was cleaned resently, which caused it. Also, you are next to the Cliffs resort which has a lot of people so if you like more quiet place, choose a condo that is further from them. We didn't mind because at night everything quiets down anyway. Overall, we loved it there and would go back.
