  The two bedroom condo # 5203 at Ali'i Kai was very clean and had a great view of the Pacific Ocean on the North Shore in Princeville Kauai.
  
  The only two problems we had the entire trip was that the washing machine didn't work when we arrived. A phone call later was answered by a couple that made quick work of fixing the small problem. Also a very common mistake is not getting the top floor of the building you are renting. We stayed 16 nights with someone in the unit above us for 9 of those nights. We got to enjoy every step they made, every chair movement, cabinet doors being shut and any other noise very clearly.
  
  That being said we were extremely pleased with the place. A very private area with little to no outside noise or people walking around the building. In 17 days we say only 11 people between our lanai and the grass in front of the cliff's / ocean in front of our condo. In June we were ocean front at The Cliff's which is right next door to Ali'i Kai and we saw almost that many people out front at any given time of the day when it was nice weather. Not a problem by any means we just really enjoyed the privacy we had at the Ali'i Kai.
  
  I met a 69 year old gentleman from San Diego walking near the Queen's Bath and the next morning I showed him and several of his party the turtle cave located directly below our condo. If you are in good physical condition be sure to hike down the short yet tough trail to the turtle cave, bring a flashlight and check out the sleeping turtles at the east end of the 75 yard cave.
  
  For the money I'd give # 5203 a 5***** +

  The views were amazing, location was great, virtually no check in/check out was which was really nice. We had a couple of issues with the property...the shower in the 2nd bath drained really slowly and the washer and dryer were loud other then that everything was great.

  Overall we were really happy to staying at this place. Only thing to point out is some light bulbs were not working....we didn't really need that much light but it makes me wonder why it wasn't working... and the bath tub was clogged...luckily there was
  another bathroom, but if it wasn't clogged, we could've take bath. And I thought the place has a cooler box? I couldn't find it anywhere... Other then that, we had great time staying there. Quiet and great ocean view!

  This condo has the most amazing views from the balcony and both bedroom windows. We stayed there 6 nights and loved every minute of it. Below you can also hike to the Turtle caves.

  Beautiful condo, very spacious, FANTASTIC location and views! Once we got there we were kicking ourselves for not staying longer! This condo had everything we needed - beach towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, etc...After traveling to 2 other islands and ending up here, my husband literally said "this feels like home".
  The location is overlooking the cliffs and we felt sorry for all the other people renting condos in the area because they didn't have our views! Minutes from Queens Bath and great driving distance from everything. Just 45 minutes away from the airport and away from all the touristy hub-bub. We definately want to return to Kauai and will definitely try to get Alii Kai #5203 again.
  Only thing I would change is the freezer could stand to have an icemaker and the dryer squeaked pretty badly. We left a message for a "David" (I think) to try and arrange a late checkout (we didn't have the housekeeper's number) and never got a call back but other than that a great experience!

  This is the second time we stayed at Alii Kai Resorts in Princeville. We came back because of the accomodations. Again, the condo we rented this time was comfortable, clean and had a fantastic view of the ocean. It also had wonderful amenities. We did some cooking and the condo had everything we needed. The only negative thing was we had rain every day. Hopefully when we return to Alli Kai for our next trip sun will be provided. Thank you for providing such amazing facilities.

  Great property. Fabulous views and the trades are awesome. Only complaint would be that cleaning fees were excessive, given the low quality of cleaning. Otherwise we would stay again. Plenty of room for a large family or 2-3 couples.

  Overall the unit, though dated, was comfortable and clean, but overlooked in cleaning were the layers of dust on the huge fake potted plants and window treatments - not only off-putting but especially worrisome for anyone, esp. kids, with asthma. Otherwise would definitely recommend.

  Alii Kai 5203 was beyond our expectations. Even if the condo itself had not been so nice, we'd have settled for a mediocre condo just for this view! But the condo was wonderful as well. This was my 4th trip to Hawaii and I've never stayed anywhere quite like this. I hope to return. I'm also a travel agent and hope to sent clients.
